A nice little safety improvement landed in ChatGPT this month, and it’s worth two minutes of your time.
ChatGPT now has a feature called Active Sessions. In plain English: it lets you see every device that’s currently signed into your account — your computer, your tablet, your phone — along with where and when each one signed in. It shows key session details like device, location, and sign-in time, and lets you sign out of any you don’t recognize.
Why does this matter for you? If you ever worry that someone else might have gotten into your account, this is how you check. Spot a sign-in from a city you’ve never visited? You can kick it out with one click.
How to find it: Click your profile picture (top right) → Settings → Security → Active Sessions. Take a look at the list. Everything familiar? You’re all set. See something odd? Sign it out, then change your password.
It’s a small feature, but it’s exactly the kind of quiet good habit that keeps you safe online.
